Addressing challenges of accessibility in public parks and natural landscapes for electric wheelchair users
As electric wheelchair users ourselves, we are often left out of the conversation when it comes to accessibility in public parks and natural landscapes. We know first-hand the challenges that come with trying to navigate these spaces, and we want to make sure that our voices are heard.

There are a few key issues that need to be addressed when it comes to accessibility in public parks and natural landscapes for electric wheelchair users. First and foremost, these spaces need to be designed with us in mind. Too often, we find ourselves having to navigate around obstacles that were not designed with our needs in mind. This can be anything from a lack of ramps or accessible trails to uneven terrain that makes it difficult to maneuver our chairs.

Another issue that needs to be addressed is the lack of charging stations for electric wheelchair users. This is a major problem, as we often find ourselves stranded in these public parks and natural landscapes when our batteries run out of juice. This can be a dangerous situation, as we are not able to call for help if we are stuck in a remote location.

Finally, we need to see more public parks and natural landscapes that are fully accessible for electric wheelchair users. This means that all of the amenities and facilities in these spaces must be accessible to us. This includes everything from restrooms and picnic areas to playgrounds and swimming pools.

By addressing these issues, we can make public parks and natural landscapes more accessible for electric wheelchair users. This will allow us to enjoy these spaces more and to participate in the activities that take place in them.
