The average person in an urban environment is exposed to noise pollution levels that exceed recommended limits. This can lead to a number of health problems, including increased stress levels, sleep disturbance, and even hearing loss. Electric commuting is one way to help reduce noise pollution in urban environments.
Electric vehicles are much quieter than traditional gasoline or diesel-powered vehicles. In fact, electric vehicles are so quiet that some cities are considering banning them because they are disruptive to the peace and quiet of urban areas.
While electric vehicles are not the only solution to reducing noise pollution in cities, they are a step in the right direction. If more people switched to electric commuting, it would make a significant difference in the noise pollution levels in our cities.
